I think the heater hoses for LX 5.0L's are available as a repro????

Can the LH Heater hoses still be sourced brand new???

Got onto Mick. No go. Rang a few local shops round town who all just referenced back to the Mackay Rubber book which its not listed in. So there ya go. Pretty sad state of affairs when you cant buy a bloody heater hose.....

Quite a few odd shaped heater hoses out there. Might be able to find something close.

Thanks datto. That would be a great help. I was thinking perhaps I could use one of Micks hoses and cut it down so it goes from the heater to manifold on the passenger side? Just won't have the moulded bend where it goes on manifold. But should sit nice where it fits to heater.

Thats probably going to be your option... a mix and match
My old 2003 Mackay book doesn't specifically list those part #'s but does have others listed... still looking for older books I know I have

OK...old Mackay #'s
CH1124 from water pump to heater

Thats just a suggestion.... not one thats listed

None of my Gates , MacKay,Dayco or Repco catalogues list any heater hoses for V8 Toranas... dated all the way back to 1996

So guess your on your own on this one mate

Thanks for trying Datto, the hose from water pump to heater core is in decent condition, Ive given it a good clean up. Ill just have to get creative with the hose from the manifold to heater core.

Its quite surprising to see how this other original hose went! Came straight out of the heater then went straight up and over the dizzy, then along the passenger side rocker cover to the manifold... Ive got no hope of finding anything that sorta shape... Had a dig through the hose bins at Supercheap.... I know the routing of it is totally wrong but it fits neatly... So I hope it will be ok?

Not my car, not my photos....
