Long thin one.
Compliance one.
Body ID one.
I previously neglected to note the model with the body, trim, paint on the body ID one.

Can you confirm the number on the PSN Tag. 82311GL185721?
The G should be a C but may be a stamping error if it is a G, and is the PSN definitely L185721 or is it L183721?

Hi people hope this is the place for a little help. long time member/lurker I have all torana vin chassis number blj29869A And wanting a dealer sticker is there anyone that could help with original dealer it was sold through
Need the PSN number off the long skinny tag (VIN Tag) attached to the drivers side of the radiator support panel. The chassis number BLJ29869A only tells us it is a September 1973 LJ Torana built at the Elizabeth plant in SA.

L201850 was originally an LJ S 2 door sedan. It was originally fitted with a 2850cc engine with manual transmission. It was completed on 3rd May 1972. It shouldn't be a 6/72 compliance as it was sold in 5/72. I don't have enough cars at that timeframe to tell if ALJ05131A is spot on for that PSN but it's pretty close. Is that number off the rails or off the ADR plate?
QL763053 is a 3.3L engine from a HX Holden (could be from any HX Holden except GTS or LE). If it has an X in front of the Q it'll be from a post 6/76 LX Torana.

From what I understand it is one of the few Toranas originating from the Perth assembly plant.
Thanks

Do you have its body number? Mosman Park cars are always cool cars to see ID tags for.

There looks like there was at least 724 LJ's assembled at Mosman Park between about 24th January 1972 and 25th August 1972 or thereabouts. PSN's start at L653805 and finish at L661659, the rest in that range will be almost all HQ. There will be a car or two missing as well as there normally is.
Yours was completed on 10/3/72. Engine number was CB115015. It must have been a stock order car as its warranty commenced 5/72, credited selling dealer (I think) North City Pty Ltd in Osborne Park WA. It was a 44301C0 BETSCBAC which is 2 door S sedan, 2250ci, 3spd manual, 3.08 rear axle and disc brakes. It must be part of a second or third or 4th batch of hard trimmed and painted bodies being 287-A. Normally Mosman Park bodies were very early as they were sent over there early on so they could begin volume production in line with the other VAP's, so they must have assembled those and this one is part of a later batch.

Thank you. That's great amount of detail you have provided, particularly the number of LJ's (approx. 724) assembled at the Mosman Parks. Not a huge number but I do know of one other surviving LJ 2 door from the same plant.
