Still slowly working on the wiring, finding it hard to stay motivated.

Keep at it Glen. We were frothing hard when we saw this machine. Can't wait to see it driving eventually.

The quicker you do it, the more time you have to enjoy it!
Awesome build thread by the way.

Got the wiring loom finished off, some of the sensors that the ECU will have is.

2x inlet air temp

coolant temp

engine oil temp

gearbox temp

transfer case temp

2x knock sensors

MAP sensor

fuel pressure

oil pressure

ATTESA oil pressure

speedo sensor

rear l/h and r/h wheel sensors

Gave the transfer case a quick freshen up and changed the disc and clutch plates from 12/7 to 10/9, the spare one had water in it luckily I only needed 2 clutch plates out of it.

Since I had a spare ATTESA cylinder I decided to drill and tap it to take a pressure sensor.

Welder up the air temp sensor in the manifold and re-tapped it to 1/8 NPT, also gave it a bit of a satin finish.

Fitted the the MAP sensor.

Is part of the inlet manifold sandwiched between the head and the cams? (Forgive my ignorance about anything without pushrods!)

The MAP sensor ( manifold absolute pressure ) has to be mounted between the throttle body and the head, having 6 throttle bodies

the area i mounted it in links all 6 together so the computer can measure boost and vacuum.

Also started to extend the top timing belt cover, it had a crack and a piece missing so it was easier to cut the small section out and replace it at the same time.
