Painted the switch block and fitted the switches to see how it looked, still need to engrave two plates to say what each switch does.

Wasn't happy with the washer bottle/catch can, decided to make it a bit lower and and raise the bottom to hide the washer pump and boost control valve.

Decided to make a trolley to hold the stud welder a few of my hammers and dollies so there at arms reach while I do the body work.

Also started to get all the engine parts together to take to JPC to get rebuilt.

Problem with this build is most of the really cool fabricated bits will never be seen, started with a really good shell, can't wait to see it finished!

The door trims, roof lining and the trim kit for the top of the doors came today from Cools Auto Trim, had them done in black instead of slate.

Not finding much time at the moment to get far on the body work so just buying some more parts like new brakes.

355x32 discs with 6 piston front and 4 piston rear calipers, it might be a bit over kill when the hatch originally come out with 13" rims

and now is going to have 14" discs.

Have 12mm clearance between the spokes and the caliper and 6.5mm between the inner barrel and the caliper.

At 25 pages, the thread is starting to get a bit long to go back through for stuff I can't remember. Are you incorporating the ABS from the donor car Glen?

Started on panel gaps and sort out which is the best nose cone to use, then need to modify the front section of the front flares and front spoiler.

The RB engines have a tendency to fill the cam covers with oil then push it out the breathers these help separate the oil.

Very nicely explained. Something similar could work in high revving 308s as well.

May have missed it in the thread.

Any reason the flares sit so high?

Crappy flares or mods for different sized wheels?

With the seat supporting it I almost though you were going to extend the bottom lip.

Would look different and good if you did.

Have seen photos of alod race cars with an extended lip.

Look good with it.
