R33 complete rear subframes go from $600 up. There are a few small differences between the R33 subframes between the GTR and GTS models.

Incase you're wondering, you're my hero. And I'm not even particularly into Skylines, this is just awesome.

And what would those differences be?

Got a few more things done, modified the accelerator pedal to work with the skyline cable. Also mounted the intercooler and and tacked up some pipe work.

Real nice work!

Will the nose cone fit on with the bonnet catch/support?

The nose cone fits but the grill will need to be ground out at the back. The leg on the bonnet catch latch will be removed. It will be the same set up as i done on my other hatch.

This build just "oozes" awesomeness.....

Top job so far mate, keep it up because seeing your progress helps me get back in the shed & do a bit more, because when I think about how hard the work I'm doing compared to yours, it's like all I've gotta do is change a tail light globe haha.

It's not that big, it's just a garrett gt3540 roller with a 0.82 rear housing.

Slightly different to the ford turbo, they run a small front compressor cover and a different turbine wheel with a 1.06 housing and internal waste gate.

I should send it up to Mr Dirtbag to do the body as that's the part where i loose my motivation.

Made up a combined radiator over flow tank and surge tank. Also worked out where the turbo is going to be mounted.

Mate,

I think it’s totally inappropriate for you to be showing everyone you @#%$ magnificent engineering/fabrication/welding ect skills.

You are officially my new best friend, and all the other mates I’ve had for decades are now dumped.

Where are you?

I just happen to have a couple of small jobs, a best mate would be happy to do, for his new best mate.

All jokes aside, well done there are some very smart people out there.

Because of my love of this chassis swap awesomness i'm doing my own, but not to be registered. Its going to be a subatoyrova. Why a subatoyrova. 05 subaru liberty gt floor/suspension i have (free), early 60's crown $50 and a 3.4 alloy rover v8 :S $250 for entire car, some 2 door white thing.

Sorry its not a torana but there not $50 anymore... Although this guy said we just missed someone picking up a hq 2 door shell for $250 :/.

Sorry for the hi-jack but i love the idea of new handling and performance with old sexy shells!

How far away are you from cutting up the hatch?
