That brake duct looks like a similar shape to a chassis bracket I had to make for my Brumby project - took me 6 months to get it right !!!!

Looks good but you don't think it will pick up too much water and crap off the road down that low? Just have to change filters a little more often I guess

That's what the turbo is for. The crap goes through the inlet and dumps it out the waste gate.

Muflers are too expensive to damage, especially the Kenworth sized tips the young guys use these days.

WOW! Incredible stuff. :clappin:

I love the tasteful gauge mods and the sheer time dedication required for this project.

Great work and keep the updates coming.

Started on the radiator it's a HQ ebay radiator with a fan shroud I made to suit twin 12" spal fans and I moved the bottom outlet.

There's about 6mm between the power steering pulley and the fan.

Also mounted the 45mm turbosmart hyper-gate and tacked up the dump pipe. I'll finish the dump pipe when I get the flex

coupling that will be cut in the 2" tube after the wastegate.

Welded up the intercooler and piping and also fitted the synapse diverter valve which will be plumbed back to the air box.

Also started the chassis strengthening using 89x89x3.5 rhs shaped to suit the floor pan.

shaped to suit the floor pan

Can see what you mean at the front, does that mean it also doesn't protrude through the floor at the back?

I did similar to the hatch for strength, profiled to floor. Remember to put a hole on both sides to run the park brake cables I didnt and the cables fowl a bit. Should have welded in 2 tubes to run the cable through.

I'll be using the skyline hand brake which is mounted in the centre console, the cables run down the tunnel almost to the diff then head out to the brakes.
