I think the wheels look better in the photo than they did in person.

I have a local wheel builder who can do either billet stuff to order, or also does casting work too...could always get a mold made of a hotwire and try to stretch it somehow so it still had the right look, without the odd looking wide step like those 19's above..lol.

Only stumbing block is the $7500 - 8k or so for the cost to make the mold... (and remember that each size needs it's own mold.)

The billet blanks my guy uses are not really the right shape to slice up into a hotwire I don't reckon, hmmmm...

17x8 & 17x10 cast or billet Hotwires.... come on somebody!!   I'm sure there would be a demand due to easier tyre choice... Still baulking on buying those 2 piece 15's..

Have you guys seen these custom made Hotwires? Looks like it's all been kept in the correct proportions.

I think they've done a damn good job!

It's an XB GS, I believe it's being built by Seven82motors up in Queensland.

Hell it looks a lot better without the fraud bulky 1/4 panels. Actually with a zero overhang, new design on 1/4's and reshape on both ends (a little Pantera like) maybe an aussie fraud might look ok. :stirpot:  :stirpot:

22" is just too big imo, but at least the dish and proportions are not out of whack. All part of the whole airbag dump in the weeds look thing ..... that I am not keen on. :shoot:

Now, we need to track down the Hotwires, to see how much they are, and what they weigh, and the sizes, this lot comes in. Dave I
