Bill has sold his V8 XU1 and there is a very happy Forum member who got a bargain.

I might have to run the YEK950 Chassis Number and V8 Engine number through there FOI

If the Car was ever rego in Qld then the Chassis Number will be on there Records at Qld RTA

I have a lot of respect for you and your knowledge Dave but I am getting a little bored with your attacks on Al.

Al, in my eyes, is the sleuth on these V8 Toranas and has my FULL respect.

Sometimes he may be wrong but he is like a dog with a bone on this subject and SURELY must be respected for that, not undermined.

ok  time to clear some things up.

Firstly the bill graham that responded initially to this forum is THE bill graham in the article and owner of the v8 xu1.

I had been trying to contact bill from his initial post and managed to track him down after ringing about 30 different places that might know of him and I finally got his number and arranged to meet the next day as bill said in his email.

I can confirm that his computer is not good and plays up regularly this was the major delay in getting back to forum members.

once he had fixed computer and read the crap that was going on (and receiving some) he thought better of sharing any more info.

With bills permission I have attached a photo of him and his car(now sold)

Bill has been living in far north qld now for about 10 years.(not Canberra)

He has shared a wealth of info in regards to converting lc and lj and the cars in his area at that time.

Bill and a few others had converted about 3 cars with the assistance of some people at gmh.

Hopefully the conspiracy theories can now stop
