Most of the Aussie cars you see in Street Machine are trailer queens unfortunately.

They just pretend they're legal to sell more mags to the young blokes.

I forgot I was still on the first page of the thread when I posted that comment.

Bit of a Doh !!! moment.

It's true though. I wish they'd go back to street legal sh!t and low buck tips and tricks like Hot Rod in the US does.

Aaron all looks good. Once those turbo's are on full boost I doubt "warm beer" will ever be a problem again.

well a couple of weeks ago i got on to a guy who had a mould for a hatch thanks to [LXSS350] over here in NZ so placed an order 2 weeks later he rings up its ready

he has mould for hatch doors as well im still thinking about those. the hatch was $750.00 for a fibreglass one and $850.00 for a carbon fibre one  guess witch one i got

its not to bad a fit just sits a bit high through the middle might have to figger out how bend it in the middle [maby a couple of bricks on it for couple weeks] haha

got new hinges from rare spears they were about $135 over here and new rubber too haven't put that on yet tho.

Thanks.

Down near the bottom of this link is some info -

http://www.bentrider...ad.php?p=324124

eg. "Carbonfiber is locked in its place mostly with epoxy. If its not fully hardend, its possible to bend that. Up to say 2 weeks after production if not heat cured, depending on the weater (temp). A very small amount of manufacturers use a thermoplast wich can be re heated and bent."
