Three would be better though, you could have one on your left hand, one on your right hand and one your nose.

Headbutt l know this is a bit confusing given you are only 10 or 11. However what is being discussed here is that a very important point of a Torana is that our experience is that no matter how good it looks in the pictures once we experience it in our own real life it appears to have been 'date coded' and doesn't look as good. Sort of like we see it today in pictures but when we experience it in real life we come back to reality and they are saggy like any suspension that was built in the 70's.

,it was a disappointment not to do the circuit parade lap ,but as we had half the cars at the track on saturday and half sunday it was always going to be a lucky break to get on the track.
we were so lucky with the weather and the 3 meals put on through Todd were great. especially the special guests Colin Bond , Ian Tate , Bob Morris and Bev Brock, they were all happy to sign what ever you asked and had great stories loved it .
It was the best line up of XU-1s i have ever seen including the 17 Toranas we had from Western Australia and a few of us drove 4000 kms plus
Thanks every one for a great weekend and thanks to Todd and his crew, we had to take the train from Bathurst to Sydney as our XU1 was driven home to Brisbane by its new owner . loved it all liswar

Just when I though things couldnt get any better another thing would happen to top it, well thats how it was for me. So much so travelling back I thought how good is this sitting back in the drivers seat with a grin on my face one leg stretched out and slung over the centre console, right arm out the window travelling back home to WA to loved ones with the sun shining, The Great Australian Bight to my left and the sweet purr of a 3100x engine it doesnt get any better than that for me.
Big thanks to the WA GTR Torana XU1 car club members they know who they are for turning my wildest dream into a reality by making it possible to get my car to Bathurst. Hearsay about the WA boys and girlls getting on the track with a pace car leading us Nah not hearsay I was there it happened...
Cheers 71 XU1

Hey Dave, glad you made it back,it was great to meet you WA guys and put faces to more forum members. That LC XU1 of your is an awsome car.Great event by Todd, Lucille and thier helpers, Just got back from my 7800km round trip. Have to say I enjoyed every minute of it. The Toranas for me were just a small part of the overall event. It was great travelling with club members from WA and camping with them. Yeah we had our fair share of dramas on the way across and back but thats what makes the event more memorable.

I've gotta agree with you, they are three awesome cars.Much as I love Dane's car and still rate it the best one in Australia the one that grabbed my Attention all weekend was the wedge wood blue one. I'd never seen that colour before and fell in love with it. A very close second would have to be the Lone O Ranger GTR clone those crazy cats from Victoria bought up, a simply stunning car.
