My Torana itself is the ultimate memorabilia to me... (I just don't have it hanging on the wall or sitting on a shelf is all... ;) )

i have a hatch that has some odd bits on it from some odd people, (Harrop Tate etc) , and i guess it means more and more with every hour i spend on it / in it with my boys.

G'day All

Some of you have seen my stuff when I have had it on display at Toranafest and there is more :wtf:

Just some of it

Two HDT Jackets signed by some of the HDT drivers and mechanics

Posted Image

Some of my collection in our hallway

Posted Image

Some magazines of the 70's era and more I haven't in the cupboard

Posted Image

Glove-boxes signed and more monikers on the bottom one since pic was taken.

Had sent some down to Harry to be signed and one was blank and I asked Harry to sign it in the top right corner and this is how it came back

Posted Image

That is one I love and no more signatures will go on it.

AND this is one I picked up from Toranafest

Posted Image

Two Team Brock Bears, one signed by Peter and the other by Bev
Bev's bear has a 1976 AM radio from America in front and Peter has the model Brock A30 No.136/500

Posted Image

Torana tin collection and expanding

Posted Image

Torana sign that came from a Holden Dealership and was one of 6 that was on the wall.

Posted Image

Hard to find HOLDEN badges

Posted Image

Brochures and books

Posted Image

Magazines and rare photos

Posted Image

Letters from a fella who worked at Acacia Ridge Holden Assembly Plant in Brisbane

Posted Image

Brock and Moffat standees or cut-outs, have 4 of Brock and 2 of Moff

Posted Image

Some of the stuff on the bonnet of my SS at Toranafest 2010

Posted Image

Shown is Marlboro HDT jumper and cap signed by Peter, Acacia Ridge Inspectors Dust Coat, 05 Jumper (1997), 1976 Esky & 2002 Team Brock 6-pack cooler, Mobil Peter Brock carry bag and Persil Soap powder with "WIN A TORANA" promotion.

There is more but that'll do for now

Probably one of my favourites from the era is my 1979 HDT team member jacket.
I have some Mawer rims off Allan Grices L34 too and one still has the Dunlop wet tyre.

Showing off not, just like others to see what PGB, Torana and GMH was all about in the 70's

I'm sure there are others with more stuff than me.

I believe it should be shown and not hidden to gather dust.

I was virtually given this photo by the lady I got the Peter Brock Navigator standee from.

The first standee I purchased from her had some bubble defects in it and when I asked if she had another, she said yes and would I like a photo with it and emailed me a photo of this photo.

It looked like a 6 x 4 as it had nothing alongside it to compare size with and she only asked for a little bit more for postage and I was quite surprised when this turned up :clappin:

Posted Image

PLUS she didn't want the defective standee back :clappin: so I keep the good one at home and display the other

Extremely nice pic of Peter and one I have not seen before any where else
