Might sound like a dumb question, but does anyone know what car my front seats would have come from?? Shots aren't real clear but scroll up a bit.

Yeah, didn't find out until I pushed post! (previous page) Any ideas? I'm assuming they are from a two door because when the seats fold forward they slide toward the front, maybe some seats in four doors do the same?

Looks like Mitsubishi seats to me going by the height adjusters, had similar ones in a car I once had, could be wrong?

Kinda look like the Recaro seats that came out in the Hilux Surf imports.
(edit)
Actually, no they don't.

Build is coming along slowly, the front gaurds are almost finished. Once done the gaurds, flares, nose cone, bonnet & scoop and front spoiler will be off to the paint shop. I will try to put some picks up soon.

Long time coming, usual story best of intentions and the fricken car sits in the shed for years!

Rolled the Torrie off the ramps and out into the sun for the first time in four years. The car cover fell to bits and dust and grime all over it. A wash, new battery, connected fuel line up and she fired first turn; unfortunately carbie and clutch master cylinder leaking easily fixed though.

Torrie now centre of the shed so its in the way to keep motivation up! Some Tig welding to finish off front of the guards and LX tail light grafts and ready for the panel shop. Fortunately I fitted all the bolt on parts a few years back so hopefully some progress can be made over the next couple of months. Bit the bullet and dropped the bonnet, front flares, front spoiler and nosecone are to the panel shop - thought it best to strike while motivation is up. Hopefully the Torrie will be on the road by mid year and off to the Red Centre Nats in Sept!

Looks awesome, are you staying the same colour?

Yep, its grown on me - GMH Opaline Blue (70's cop car blue). Not too many around, I think even in the A9X there was only one hatch and two sedans built? Probably not the most popular colour but I'm not too fussed, just want it on the road to enjoy.

Also looks like a few more members doing conversions now and using a few different methods. Even a neat humble UC sedan pulls good $$ now days.

Front guards now off the car for a bit of work and radiator support panel being prepped for painting. As it is a light colour going to paint it satin black.

Picked up nosecone, front spoiler, bonnet and front flares from spray painters today. Finally feels like I'm getting some progress. Will try to finish the radiator support panel in the next few days and hopefully get into the front guards over Easter.

Finally got around to prepping the radiator support panel for priming and painting. I'm a bit of a novice at this, certainly took some time to prep the surface and mask it up - hopefully will turn out alright.

Usual wishful thinking that a project will be finished quicker than what happens in reality.
That being said the front guards are at the panel shop for painting right now. Hope to have them back in the next week & then fit bonnet, nosecone guards, front spoiler & flares ASAP. Then the whole car goes in for the blackouts on the front end and rear end paint.
