Well all back together now. 20psi now 22 deg, no ping. Had it to 25 deg at first and would just rattle at low rpm boost so I backed it back to 22 deg. Still a long way from 15 deg on 20psi it had previously. I dont think 0.5 point lower comp helped the ping as much as the chamber design did.
