Not trying to trump LC_138 but these pics are of an original one:
The dome nuts are stainless.
The factory fasteners are countersunk head 1/4" NC 20, 3/4" long.

Thanks for the replies. That's what i had imagined mine would mount up like, like old gutter mount roof racks. But the new one has the nuts the same, but has a bracket on each one that mounts into the a pillar with a self tapper.
I had to ask them for some 20mm longer brackets to mount the screws as they would have gone through the gutter and hit on the shade. Being longer they go into the a pillar.
I might even send some of your pics to the shade place & see if they can make up some of those type.

Is there anyway of fitting an external sun visor without putting holes into the frame?
