I am considering the new paint colour for my LX hatch. Can anyone with photos of different variances of either of these colours upload them and list the colours exact name or paint code.
Also thinking about ford focus orange. Been done yet....pic's??
I found this picture a while ago and am really liking the paint colour. Anyone know who's Torana it is or what the colour is called.....don't just say blue either :-)
Cheers.

Just about to repaint my hatch in Electric orange, very similar to Ford Focus orange. 3 step process, white base coat then orange and clear. With black about 10 - 12 litres of paint needed.

I'm painting my LC the new ford blue Nitro, it's like a mid metalic sky blue.
I also like the Mazda blues.

Myss427 when you get started post us a pic up here, if you don't mind - would love a look.

UCgazman I did consider the Subaru Blue, it looks great so far. I'd like to see it on some outer panels.

mitchg thanks for the MRLXSS pic.......very interesting - picturing it with colour codes bumpers and black bonnet. Thanks.

Brett, you'll use any excuse to post pictures of your beast eh :-) thanks mate, your car still looks sweet as but just not quite the exact colour I'm chasing. Hey btw the commodore electric roof fit will be attempted in the next couple of weeks, very excited.

Mort your mandarin red sedan looks beautiful mate. I must admit I don't think I've seen a flared hatchback in that colour??? hhmmmmmmmm.

shan620 I'll google that colour and take a peek, cheers.

j.e.d. Thanks for that link - great read and at least I now know it's a mazda colour - now to just narrow it down a bit more.

Quagmire take a look at monsoon blue an AU3 colour. I seriously, absolutely love this colour but am very unsure about putting it on my hatch. I have owned 2 XR8 ute's in this colour. Only because I think the body shape with flares requires a lightier colour, so as not to loose the detail.

Tim, thanks I'll see if I can take a look at moot's Torana somehow.

The first post is LS1LX, a member here, and it is actually a Mazda blue, possibly "Winning blue".

ppg blueprint looks nothing like the ford blueprint eh. Looks good though - suits the car's shape nicely.
