Well 9 cars left the first meet point
8 Toranas and a Cadillac
3 LJ's peeled out at meet point 2 but 2 big boys joined us there
So 7 Toranas and the Caddy tailing behind made it to the finish....actually...Dave didn't make it to the finish he peeled out at Tonkin Hwy to go play Supermum

Lachy (my son) and I had a great time.

Big BIG thanks to Datto for the lift to and from the cruise, and to Gene for organizing the whole thing and taking us on the cruise itself in his GTR.

I had an absolute ball and my mind is made up about whether to take the plunge and buy a nice Torrie, I will be looking as of.....now. Just have to wait for the bank to come to the party.

Here's some pics I took;

This is Ice's Red Rocket, apparently it is slow compared to the famed Glacier White beast. :spoton:

I can't say thanks enough to all of the guys who came along. I would have taken more photos but I was a bit star struck seeing cars that I never thought I would see and have only drooled over on the forum before.

A great bunch of blokes with a common interest, what more could you want?

I think Lachy enjoyed the ride in Gene's car. When we pulled up at home, he looked at me and said, "If you buy another Torana, can you get a GTR?"

How can I say no?

Your girl has got good taste Brock, the Caddy is beautiful man.

I'm not sure I've ever been in anything so smooth and comfy, it was like sitting on a couch watching the world go by.

I can see why Datto likes it so much.

To be honest, I'd probably give my left nut for any of the cars that were there today.

I'm so glad Gene cracked the sh!ts yesterday because otherwise I wouldn't have come.

Thanks for giving us a kick up the bum Gene and organising something, was a nice easy map to follow so no-one got lost and when we did get split up by the lights there was usually a good spot to pull over and wait for the others.

Very impressed with the quality of everyones Torana's, Immaculate paint job on the A9X, Brocks sounded sweet at full noise and Kevs is a weapon.. thick black lines on demand... Cant wait to get my Torana on the road even more now

Hah Neil, I like how you counted my Gemi as a Torana..

Gene, Job well done and thanks for getting the guys together.
It was great to put faces to forum members and something we should plan to do again.
Loved all the cars that turned out and the WOT moments on the run were special!.
Would have loved to partaken in the 2nd leg of the run and met the others as it sounded just as eventful.
