Had to put our 14 year old dog to sleep. Took a turn for the worse last night and had trouble moving and breathing. This is the second dog that I have had this experience and it doesn't get any easier.
Amber you were a great friend and we all loved you.

Sorry to hear about that mate. It is hard to lose such a loyal member of the family. I lost my dog about 7 years ago and I still miss him. I havent had a dog since mainly cause my kids are under 5. We are going to get an english staffy sometime this year.

Thanks guys, mourning has finished so back to the build.
Block has been bored to 20 thou, decked and cleaned.
First time I've used the fine masking tape.
Little tip, keep it wrapped up so you don't get dust stuck to edge of tape.
Re masking car, this time so I can spray inside plenum.
Setup my inspector Gadget to help fit stickers to dash. These are eBay stickers, good but not same font.
Used a scalpel to peel off backing paper and apply.
Getting ready to fit GTR badge to boot. To find where to drill holes I pushed the badge through some card then transferred the holes to boot.
For those that haven't read my thread on positioning its 105mm from lip of boot to bottom of badge and 57mm to RH side.
Found another section that needed work.
Hope to do final acrylic high coat/ primer later this week, then white, and finally Tangerine.
Marty

Sweet, it's nickname should be the "DREAM" , the tangerine dream.

Hi Marty, I hope you remember me from Moto Farm mate..(I was on the Black Bike) It was really nice to meet you.. Jeez mate the car is coming up a treat.. I love Lone O Ranger, and it's hard for me to say it's not the best color out there, BUT, if I could have any other color it would be Tangerine ...... all the best mate, and I look forward to seeing you again one day... Cheers Ian..

Hi Mick, thanks, here's a pic of the powder. The paint shop said the pros use it. I don't believe everything they say. It is expensive but it saves cleaning the gun, clogging the paper and plenty of time.

Of coarse I remember you Ian, almost had to share my bed with you. (Bunk)
Yes, Tangerine is a cool colour, those oranges and reds etc are what the seventies is all about. See it coming a mile away. :-)

Think a one word name is best.
Hi Adam, I'm confident of my position. Looks like the majority of GTRs.
Drilled the holes and test fitted badge. Looks hot.

Adam, I hope your kidding. ;-)
I marked it up square to the boot edge but drilled the left hole about a proofteenth higher by mistake. This didn't concern me because they look low on the left when positioned perfectly.
Not you too Gene. :-)
