What a car. What craftsmanship. I wish I had the patience, skills and perseverance to do this. I think if I had a couple of boxes of Ritalin I might be able stay focused enough to actually finish a project like this.
Again, nice work Marty.

Thanks for that. I'm no craftsman but do have patience, persistence, time and hopefully perserverence to finish this project.
I now remember it had a radio mounted under the dash.
Didn't paint the dash first cause I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm just wing'n it.

Hi Mike, Marty's panel and paint will be shutting up shop when my car's finished. Don't want to piss-off my good neighbours.

Hi John, yes, I got the rim pics, thanks. I'll be putting sprint masters on though.
Yes Gene, twice already but since I found that dent in radiator support and had to drill extra holes in chassis, also a bit of overspray under lip where it joins guards. Nothing better to do. :-).

Wow, the fresh black paint looks awesome next to the tangerine. Hope I can keep it this crisp and clean.
Painted the grill.
The holes that I missed first and second time around.
Dropping off seats to upholsterer tomorrow.

Grill is finally ready. There's been a lot of repairs to the plastic. Missing fins, cracks, bent and stainless needed dents tapped out and sanding and polish. I should of bought a new one really but they don't look original and trying to save money.
Cleaned all the tags up. I'm reusing the old rivets but would also like use an adhesive under the tags.
Any ideas? Seam sealer, mastic?
