they are also different shapes of offsets.

It might be the pic, but it looks to me as if your donk is still on the piss a bit.

In my HT one rubber mount goes to the front face and the other to the rear face of the steel mount.

Not sure which is which, and not sure if Torries are the same.

but it might be worth double checking.

Ooops...just checked the other comments...

You got a good eye Craig. I hadn't fitted gearbox mount yet.
Hopefully looks good now?

Hi Marty,

Really coming together now, great to see, beautiful work.

Just noticed one thing isn't you're thermostat housing facing the wrong way?

Cheers Graham.

Thanks for the encouragement at Toranarama to do it this way Dane.
It really was easy and all done single handed. KFrame to lower chassis had plenty of room, no need for straps to pull in. I'm also glad I have bushes' the way it was made, otherwise the frame would of been stretched to meet chassis, possible causing a crack.

Finished hood lining and started the rear window seals. Note you start and finish under a hinge, then glued together.

Spent a good hour cleaning the gunk out of screen rubber. Then gave it some magic.

y9yse8aj.jpg

Test fitted the stone guard, made some adjustments where the rubber steering boots get close. Now I can weld the bracing in place then paint.

More progress pics.

Got the front and rear screens fitted. Cost me $400 for new front and fitting both. Reckon I got over charged about $50. Did a good job considering what he had to work with, genuine seal with rares bulbus chrome strips.
