Thanks Smeer, I'm glad someone has learnt from me cause I learnt so much from everyone here.
The quality of builds on this forum is unreal. I would hate to think what my standards would have been like without this forum.
'GMH Torana' should take a bow!
It has really turned around the restoration process to top quality.
I think back to the 90's when I first restored a Torana, using fibreglass to fill rust holes and having no idea about what was original for the car.
Thank you GMH Torana
Marty

It looks as good from below as it does on top. Great work Marty.
What's the story with the spacers on the gearbox crossmember?
Posted 12 December 2014 - 04:40 AM
Spacers are factory for a 72 crossmember. I'm after a 73 if you want to swap. :-)
Posted 12 December 2014 - 05:14 AM
has it got a name yet ?
I still remember you putting up that garage on the side of you house and thinking " what's this dude upto " and then it started, i was laughing when you pulled it down and the car was outside thinking that the whole journey you took us on was inside that little garage.
Wind the window down rest the arm on the door and start cruising and getting the thumbs up from people who cannot be bothered or wish they had.
thats true about the 72 cross members requiring spaces.
