Marty, wheels are from Canterbury wheels and tyres in Melbourne. As dave pointed out, they do look like GTS rims, although are described as "Torana Sprintmasters" (about $100 cheaper a set than the ones dave posted on previous page.) I decided to go for 15" wheels as there is more choice in tyres. Fronts are 7" and rears 8" as I like the deeper dish on rear but I think tyres will rub on guards even if I roll them. Might have to go for 7" rims on rear, as only other option is to get diff shortened which I presume is an expensive exercise as axles will also need to be modified.
Cheers Paul

Marty, I am trying to work out how you made the dash/fuse box decals. Are you in the graphic design/printing industry? (which would explain your meticulous attention to detail if you are). Are they something you can make more of to sell, or was it just a "one of thing". Thanks Paul

Hi Paul,
I've got the LJ lower dash and fuse box ones ready.
Working on doing the LC version at the moment. I have borrowed a heater control panel which I have finished copying the text, hopeing to get the LC lower dash soon to copy that. I was lent a lower dash that had been restored by well known original dash restoration Co. but unfortunately they have used the wrong font so that is worthless to me.

Drove the car to Geraldton and back (850km round trip) for the Mid-West Show'n'Shine.
Car felt awesome and having an XU-1 in front and another behind me topped it off.
Decided to get the car tuned when I got home, just to make sure I was getting the most out of it. Had it dyno'd and its got a massive 100hp at the wheels. It runs a lot smoother but I haven't noticed any extra power yet! Still to give it a real squirt.

With the distance you drove you've now proven the reliability of your car from doing the rebuild.
Keep the pictures coming.

I know you are done with the build but i have only just joined up so got the pleasure of reading the progress start to finish in 1 hit.
I thought the car looked pretty good at the start and the end result is just spectacular.
Inspiring stuff.

Hi Guys, don't get on here much now that Tapatalk doesn't work for me. Anyone else have issues in the last 6 months? Might just need to reload the App.
Anyway, thanks for the nice replies.
The cars now on Historic plates which doesn't really effect how much I drive it. I Like to get it out once every couple of weeks to give it a run and get some fuel.
Last week I found a pretty cool spot for taking photos on the coast. These were morning shots but I reckon If I get down there at sunset it could be awesome.
Cheers
Marty

Jeeeeeeeeezus Marty, I thought I was looking at an LJ Torana sales brochure for a moment. Had to whack myself around the noggin' to snap back to reality.

HaHa Dave, amazing what a bit of vasoline on the lens and low light can achieve.
Thanks Blair and Craig.
Tried for the Sunset shots tonight but someone was in my spot, Dammit!
Only have two week-ends left before she gets packed away for my trip around Oz.
So I went home a took some interior pics.

Marty, a trip around OZ you say! If you're passing through Brissy maybe we could catch up and shoot the breeze?
PM me if you are and can but I won't be offended if you don't/won't have time.
Cheers
Dave.

Finally got down the coast for sunset shot. This was a lot harder to get something decent, lots were blurry and grainy. Only happy with this one.
Anyway it's packed away till October.

Hi Steve,
Yeah still love driving it.
Just finished a few more improvements.
I always had the wrong rocker cover and finally sourced a 73 one which I cleaned up and got chromed. As much as I liked the red rocker cover, the chrome one looks shit hot!
Also got some bits off one of our forum members to make my battery look old school. I actually made a top which can now be transferred when a new battery is required.
