Iv spot weld drilled out the rear parcel shelf and repaired the left corner of it, (i will post pics) i havnt done the right corner yet. Also the lower rear window section has been cut out due to rust but i wont put shelf together untill i take the car to the beed blasters to make sure every little corner gets a blast.

If your having trouble, probably the best way to do it is to open up one of those free pic webhosting accounts. I use this website called photobucket, go to www.photobucket.com and register with them. Its easy to upload your pics and you'll find it much easier to link them to this website.
let me know if you need any more help!

The other pics show the before and after of the car, with the front end and without, a hell of alot of work to take off the front, drilling out the spot welds had to be done really carefully, and not making a mess by making swiss cheese out of it.
The passenger fron sill have to be replaced, as the full extent of rust was revealed when the front end came off, not overly bad but enogh to keep me busy.
The driver side sill isnt as bad but will be replaced anyway.
I suppose next is the chassis jig before i start cutting up the sills and tubs.
More pics later

TUFF
The rear parcel shelf was spot weld drilled out also, (pain in the bum)
Ill get more pics up as im progressing, when the sills and tubs are chopped out and replaced etc I think the plan is when the sills are cut out, the engine is out, the rest of the interior then its out to the beed blaster so the inner sills and other bits cop the blast.
Yeah the RB30 is a great little motor, this one has been pampered by myself and the previous owner who had it in a stock VL, its still stock and it had 130000kms when i got it and iv put about 6000kms on top. Not bad for its age.
Well here i go again about the Nissan V8, iv enquired about one yesterday so IF all goes well (IE the price and Kms is right on the Nissan V8) then im taking the plung, fingers crossed nothing gets in the way and prevents me from getting one, as has happened in the past, i was quoted $1000 with bell housing, starter motor, alternator, harness, its a 4.1ltr version rather than the 4.5, im going 4.1 as its legal with turbo, that is if the RTA dont change the rule book again, any word on the rule book change regarding modifications?
