Hi mate...Im a fairly new member of HVTC...our 2013 calender shows it as Sept 14 & 15.

Dave, if you are going to stay at the ToranaFest Motel they usually get the clubs to arrange bookings rather than having individuals book themselves. Suss it out, but if you need a guarantee of a room I can do that via the QTCC allocation (we usually get 10 rooms).

I know my room is booked :spoton:

EDIT - The QTCC travel down on Friday 13 Sept :blink2:

and come back Monday 16 Sept. I strongly advise to take the Tuesday off as well

Have a polling booth at toranafest. People come to vote and look at the cars. Sounds good.

With regards to the eviction, sorry, election in September, the best way to go will be postal vote.

Marc - Yep, sure do. Its called a tow truck :-) Corey usually tows his snot mobile down so if he still has it next year the truck will be in the convey with a spare hitch for any wayward Toranas. Generally though, we have enough parts, tools and knowledge going down that we can do roadside repairs without drama.

Skap - We usually get allocated two family rooms of which we only use one, so no drama there if it works out the same this year. Regardless, I will make sure you and Gino have a bed. Do you need a lift in the Mystery Machine again this year?

Watching quietly from the background last year I wished I had joined you all...... so if there is room for me to tag along and bunk with the QTCC I would love to check out my very first Torana fest in good company. If I'm welcome there will be a spare seat in my car for any needy passengers.
