The Classic & Musscle car club of Ipswich are having another club drag day & all are welcome,
9th of March, $55 on the day, long sleeves & long pants, covered in shoes & a helmet, be at the gates between 1.30 - 1.45 to organise payment before the gates open at 2.00, cost also includes the test & tune afterwards, bikes also welcome

Booked into the calendar and cleared with the missus? Check
New fuel pump installed to get me all the way down without conking out at 3/4 track? Check
Exhaust gaskets changed to reduce engine farts? Check
Virgin sacrificed to the rain gods to ensure a dry day? Cant find one in Alexandra Hills.......

Due to the current weather conditions ( & Tony not being able to find any virgins to sacrifice for the rain gods), i will be ringing the track as the weekend gets closer to find out if there still opening the gates or cancelling due to the weather.
i will post on here as soon as i hear if they do call it off

Why so sad Marc?
Two reasons
1: I'll be in miserable old adelaide
2: since we have had all this lovely...rain, my paint has blistered from the humidity, to shamed to drive it now

Sorry guys & gals,
looks like the rain gods got the better of us & decided to put a halt to todays events, wich i think was a wise move they have since cancelled the test & tune for the afternoon as well,
We have another day booked for july 20th wich you are more than welcome to attend, if by any chance willowbank can fit in another day for us between now & then i will post the date on here.
Sorry guys & Gals & thanks for suporting the event.

Thanks for the invite Wayne :-)
Despite the rain it was good to take the UC out for a drive, plus the event prompted me to fix a few things which should have been done ages ago. Not only that, I got to catch up with a few people and say g'day. Oh, and old mate in the RX7's effort coming out of the driveway and on to Champions Way gave me laugh (big fishies, lost it and spun..... no damage lucky for him).
Good call on cancelling and looking forward to the next one.
