That looks really good in my opinion especially in black, the little bits of "chrome" (probably alloy or something) on the door handles and around the windows. Really set it off compared to some jap cars. Also think it would look good with Holden written in chrome lettering across the back rather than a lion badge which will look great on the front. If i was looking in the $50k price bracket for a new car this would be an option that would be hard to beat.

No bloody manuals in the sportswagons! Not that I can afford one, but if I could that just lost a sale.

I can't think why they would restrict the SW to auto only but the VF sales brochure confirms it...

Manuals are a dying breed in the new car sales market unfortunately.

The wagon is seen as the family offering, and in most of the Japanese stuff, that means auto only

I went to Holden yesterday and the young salesman said, Holden will not put a manual in the VF Wagon, we have to do it after the fact.

The old holden options sheet has diminished to side steps etc.

Would cost more than an auto if could be done, well it can be done at your expence.

So after purchase it could be like this - $1800 for the Manual + $500 for the Tailshaft + $1200 for the Flywheel, Clutch and Plate = $3500 + Labor and Mounts etc.

Anyone for a Holiday and the Manual breaks down and no warranty from Holden.
No wonder we need Holden to do this is for the warranty. Dave I

p.s. anyone want to buy an auto from a VF SS Wagon? ( would be lots of them on eBay soon )

p.p.s. start up a conversion business before it is too late

p.p.p.s. Sorry REDA9X for speaking too soon

Looks like VE SS manual wagons will hold their value a bit, then!

Buy a VE SSV sports wagon, they came with manual as an option. Maybe the VF does too?

To my knowledge it was just the VE V6 that came auto only in the wagon. Well it was the last time I stood in a show room.
