You'll  be making your own patch panels for that one

No you can't buy aftermarket replacement pieces for this

Can't buy any of that new, make your own or second hand.  Noone chops up hatches now though.  Could use 4 door ones for the front half of the roof inner supports but the rear you would have to mod or make custom or repair yours with patches.

I have never seen termites in that region. You would have to make the repair pieces.

Even a rusty hatch with just a good roof is worth a lot. Did it have a sunroof?

Holden's and hidden rust. What you would have given to had them electrostatic paint dipped from new.

Unclefestal34s might be wrecking a UC soon, you might be able to get the ones off it.

Here's his thread.

Those pics are very familiar for me as I've just taken the skin off my hatch as well. Mine had a sunroof plus rust and some hail damage. I'm surprised by the amount of rust as I thought mine was bad but the internal roof frame only has surface rust. What are your gutters like? From those holes I can see the gutters must be stuffed, mine were rusted down the c pillar and will need replacing up to the b pillar. Is your roof skin ok and do you plan on putting it back on? I picked up a complete roof cut about 20 years ago as I always new my roof was suspect. After removing both skins and finding the donor roof was very clean inside and not realizing my gutters were stuffed it would have been far easier to chop the roof at the pillars but this seemed very drastic to me and wasn't Keene on it, thought the skin replacement was much less invasive, but speaking to a few panel beaters and now knowing the donor roof was clean inside I would have done a chop on the pillars.
How much of a hurry are you in as I may be able to help you with those bits down the side as I still have them from my donor roof, but I need to make sure I don't need them or bits of them,,won't know until I get the shell blasted, still a few months away yet. From the pics if you replace those side bits I can't see how you wouldn't need to replace the gutters as well, but then you would need a skin as well.

The rain gutters are spot welded onto that side piece that you have the rust in. Then the lip of the roof skin is welded onto the rain gutter, it's a continuous crimp weld. The rain gutters can be made but they are tricky, I have spoken to a local restoration guy in Sydney that says he can make them and also waddingtons in castlemaine can do them. Cost wise materials are about $3 and labour around 4 hours a side at $100 an hour.
So if you replace the gutter how do you plan on putting the skin back on as it looks like you have cut along the edge of the roof.

I'll see if I can post some pictures up tonight to show you what a good one looks like.

Here's a couple of pics of a non rusty roof, you can see the spotwelds along the roof where the drip rail is attached. This is the one I took the skin off and if I'd known how clean it was inside I probably would have replaced the complete roof. Although it did have some rust along the back that you couldnt see from the outside.
