would estimate probably at least 50 hours on the underside, just in paint and panel work

Painted inside of panels a few days ago, will upload a picture tomorrow, colour looks pretty good!

Decided to go a show colour.. some of the members on here probably wont like it, but i think it looks good.

Like said above Ryan.

It's your car so make it how you want it. The colour looks nice in the pictures and it's an in your face colour which suites the era of the car.

The main thing is the car will be how you want it and it's not lying dead in a paddock somewhere.

I am looking forward to seeing the body painted with it's chrome trim on.

 

Exciting times and I hope the car gives you great pleasure when it's completed.

Thanks for the comments everyone

Finished sanding the engine bay, boot and shell bottoms today, will all be getting painted black tomorrow

Then we have 'edge' out the shell (door jams etc.) in orange before clipping up all the panels and painting the whole car

Getting keen!

Door jams have been painted, and so have the tops of the doors/window lip thingy on the shell (no idea what its called..)

Ryan that color with those wheels is going to look awesome as long as you get the "stance" right. That's the make or break in my opinion. Take the time and persevere to get it perfect. Well done and keep going this is going to be one great car with that motor in it.

Thanks everyone,

Car won't be leaving the shop till everything is perfect, not in a rush and don't have a deadline to get it finished so we will be doing everything to the very best of our abilities.

Seen a few posts about toranarama in the toranafest thread, is this going ahead? If so we will be definitely taking the car there, sounds like a good weekend away

Made the trek down to toranafest and got to see heaps of awesome cars, but seeing 'crazy6' in the flesh was an amazing experience.. It's been an inspiration throughout te build and seeing it in person was awesome!

a pic or two?! pretty sure i got like 8347692 pictures of it.. spent half an hour drooling over it, owner had to polish it again after i left :lol:
