Yes we are, hoping for 300hp @ 7500 on pump fuel. Comp. probably 10.8, maybe a stretch to 11, but even with octane boosters there is a chance it could detonate as 202's don't have the best combustion chamber known to man.. so probably 10.8:1.
Anyone who says they have 350hp+ on pump fuel either had their engine on a 'happy' dyno or they're lying..

Ryan,
we are all having a raging debate about fly wheels and how to fix them so the don't come off, apparently this debate has been going on for 40 odd years.
has your engine builder suggested any fly wheel fixing details that you may share ?

I did post an apparently very good method of how to do this some times ago (probably 2-3 years), not sure if anyone paid too much attention to it. It's online somewhere

he did say how to do it but I really cant remember properly..
Something about pinning or doweling? And heating it up putting it on? Like an interference fit? I really cant remember..
Heath sounds like he knows what he's talking about, ask him! haha

Sorry guys! Been slack and haven't been on the forums for months!
We packed the car up after painting it and it sat in the shed for a few months.
Then to make things even more difficult, it hailed (dad is a paintless dent remover) so the panel shop has been flat out and no room for the car.
Anyway, decided last weekend that we should bring the car into the panel shop and get it rolling on wheels because there were no cars in the shop.
Fitted the front end, diff and got it rolling on its wheels, no more stand that it could fall off at anytime, phew!
Will try and upload some pics, if I can remember how to.. my brain is overflowing with trigonometry, quadratic polynomials and derivatives

Did you go with the plenum over the air filter style carby look for tuning reasons?
Are you using a MAF on that plenum?
Its plenum over trumpets, then pod filter over the end. And yes we are using a MAF sensor inside the plenum.

So we brought it up to the shed and laid out all the pieces to the jigsaw puzzle.
Put the front end back together and fitted the front wheels the first day
Then we moved the car from the trolley to jack stands and fitted the diff.
Then finally lowered it down onto its own wheels for the first time in at least 6 months or so
..More pics to come soon
