Thanks everyone, been a long road so far, and it is starting to pay off.

Are you happy with the Blackouts front and rear? I will be ready to paint my LC soon and these are the best pics I have seen of the lines without the bumpers fitted.

I think so, they are correct to the best of my knowledge, but someone like gong (LONA-CK) would be able to tell you with more experience than i can

that looks great champ,,, what size wheels did you end up using mate, they really suit it, do you have much clearance under the front guards

cheers gong

Thanks, they are 15 x 8's and 15 x 7's. At the moment there is not much room because it has 235's all round because that was the only size I could get in the semi-slicks. We will probably take the front tires off and put 215's on the front. It also hasn't been wheel-aligned and it has a fair bit of positive camber, should be more than enough room once we put the 215's and get it wheel aligned.

Keep in mind we have leyland p76 hubs and custom stubs though.

Hey Ryan,

Great to see your car out of its resting place.

It would have been a good feeling for you to give it a wash.

The car does look fantastic even as a roller.

It's a shame that life gets in the way but you and your dad will get there.

Your avatar picture is great.

Cheers, Warren.

Wouldn't have a clue! Never been inside a torana. I've only got seats for it last week and they havent ever been bolted in!

You'll be right mate, I'm 192cm and 115kg and I fit in my LJ. sort of. Kinda.

I fit in it better when I was 15, when I first got it!

That's stunning Ryan, well done.

You've inspired me to lift my game and fix up a few bits I'm not 100% happy with.

always nice to see colour on a car it really brings the whole thing to life.

all the hard work is now done. It's the finishing off which can be done either quick or slow.

Just realised that the drop spindles in the fron are 2 inch drop spindles, not 1 inch like i thought. That explains why it is higher in the back than the front. Will have to get some super low kings springs in the bacto make it level i think. Will wait till driveline is in to see how it looks though.

Painted the steering rack, wiper motor, arms and the dash today.

Looks pretty good, will post some pics within the next few days

Geezuz Ryan, you're going to have to put a sign on the roof warning people to put their shades on before they look at it.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. :spoton:

Cheers

Dave.

They are polyurethane bushes by nolathane. Depending on the company you get them from, you will get different colours. Nolathane is red. They are the upper k frame to chassis mount rubbers, there are 8 of them.
