Under the NCOP a fuel system in the boot is fine so long as theres no holes into the cab, fill the holes in the rear firewall and parcel shelf, then put a breather from the boot to the world beyond somewhere and your cool.

Looks sexual as.

Cheers.

Holy crap - that looks pretty special. :-) Thanks for that. No wonder your car is so nice with that kind of hardware in your genes.

Yeah its nice, his first turbo engine in the coupe. Has had nearly 10 engine config's over the past 20 years.. haha. 2 350's, an injected 400 chev, another 350, a 496, then the 496 with a vortech supercharger, then the 588 and now this!

Started doing the floor with ResoMat, I wasn't too keen on the idea of adding more weight, but dad wanted to put it in

Sent an enquiry to seat belt solutions for a set of front seat belts. The car has no mounting points for rears by the look of it.

Will order a set of carpets through Knox soon.

Also need a pin and spring for the door check-strap(?) the part that stops the door from opening too far, anyone know where I could get that from??

Also undecided whether to buy new glass or not, its so expensive. Goijng to get the old glass out and have another look to see how bad it is.

Buying new rear bar this week hopefully, already have front one (bought it at ToranaFest)

Pre-1971 it was legal for cars to not have rear seat belts. I believe up until late 1970 rear seat belts were an optional extra on LC's. Dad did a resto on a customers 68 HK and it also had no rear seatbelt mounting points.

Okay no worries, would like to have them but would probably be a big job to fit them properly (and legally i would imagine).

Must have been a late 1970, but yes, strange, but not uncommon

There will seat belt mounting points, one in each rear wheel tub and two in the trans tunnel just in front of cabin rear wall. Just have to drill and install mounting plates on either side under the rear parcel shelf.

Not the actual hinge pins, I bought new ones of them. The bit that stop the door from opening too far? I'll get a picture later, see if anyone can help me out. Don't know what its called.
