I'd pick a colour from the original Torana colur chart's, there was some pretty funky colours available in the 70's.

G'day Ryan,
Fantastic work with the build. It's great to see that you are into old cars of my younger years.
I'm thinking Voodoo blue exterior with a black engine bay with sandalwood interior would look very nice.
Particularly for an LC. Ultimately, it's your car so the choice is yours.

Black engine bay is so flat does nothing to enhance the look of the car
go voodoo blue with sandalwood trim should look cool
thats my opinion too, but now dad like the orange and black, so who knows what colour it will end up! haha

Hi Ryan,
Orange and black would also look great. I think as long as it's a colour that looks appropriate for the era it will look great.
The pictures I put up are from an add on gumtree but the car is just a shell by the look of it..

Agree.
How stupid do old cars painted in that tiger mica colour from 10 years ago look these days.
Choose an age old classic colour. Orange is hot....red is hot...I like gun metal

Ryan Cyan Blue is a great color although didn't come out on the LC as Warren said. Depends how pedantic you want to be though. If I did another LC/LJ Torana I would do "March 17th". I know it wasn't available with Sandalwood interior but I reckon that would work maybe?? I just like lighter color interiors especially on the LC GTR.
Really think hard about what you are doing. I decided to do something different with my HK Monaro. It took about 6 months to decide to go with red interior on blue exterior. Whilst Monaros had both color options these two colors were never offered together. When l decided to let the trimmer do it l was in a state for weeks worrying that it wasn't going to work. I was lucky, my opinion, and it came out great. However l know if l wasn't happy with it l would have been devasted. Not to mention poorer for it if I had to have it done again. Suppose what l am saying is take your time and look at heaps of pics.
That hk is like car porn.
It's soooooo awesome.
Anymore pics?

after seeing the pain a customer of dads has had with trying to keep his black XC clean and not scratched there is no way i would paint it black, its only been painted for 6 months and already has scratches that cant be taken out with a buff, and he is super careful with the car..
