Does anyone have a pic of a 100% un-molestered/un-removed ID/VIN or ADR tag?

Heres my ID plate for reference before I painted the engine bay.
And ADR plate
I'm not interested in plate info, just rivet appearance. Cheers.

I'm quite sure mine are original. And from what I've seen yours look original. The obvious thing is the options plate has the left rivet painted and right not. Something I have noticed with mine and others is there is a slight bend mark or crease in the plate on the left side. My guess is the plate was fitted with one rivet and bent up, then the body color was put on then the other plates were fitted and the right rivet fitted to the options plate, just a guess though. Hers mine as a comparison.

I have genuine ones in a GMH bag with P/N & they look like most generic I/8" rivets.

sure they're all rivets but the hardware store ones and the ones used by holden and the ones you get from Torana Resteration parts are slightly different in the shape of the head.

Yes that is true, the ones I have are at work in my tool box. I acquired them when I worked for a Holden dealer a few years ago & used some for an LH resto I did. For those who are interested I can bring them home & post a pic.

these look non original to me compared to the ones above, the originals have a flat head with a bevelled edge, most hardware store rivets are domed shape

It probably wouldn't hurt to post a pic of one of yours next to a hardware one if possible just to show the difference.

Just for the hell of it, I went to the shed to look at blind rivets.
Yeah...I know...strange behavior,eh.....
It turns out that I have some of these rare and exotic beasts with the bevelled heads.
They are a sealed waterproof rivet.
Here are some pics.
Please keep your pants on regardless of your excitement.

The only reason why I have what I believe are the factory rivets used by GMH is I worked 12 years for a GMH dealer that had been trading since 1959 from the same site. One can imagine all the NOS stuff lying around not being used. Management had no problem with me taking some stuff from time to time when I found it, if anything, they encouraged it. Saved them the trouble of disposing of it. Every so often they'd have a clean out & plenty of stuff got thrown out. I remember throwing shit loads of NOS VL door moulds out, If I had them now, I could make a few quid on ebay.

I agree that there was obviously an overlap period from 74 and 75 LH using the older style LC/LJ rivets. But in my opinion, I dont think Brett's or mine are Bunnings rivets. The inner hole diam also looks smaller to most other bunnings rivets...
My personal un-educated non-expert opinion to the way I see them is this:
Old style rivet:
Newer style (non-bunning)
Mine
Bunnings
