Sleazy !! That's a bit rough Bomber.
Anyway it took me a bit of time to locate this, so thanks for your patience.
As I said in the forward in my book I would only publish figures that I could back-up with official documentation, so fear not.
I couldn't find the official kerb weight in any workshop manual or service bulletin & you guys really had me worried, where the hell did I get this figure.
Finally found it !! In the original press release of the LC XU-1 in Aug '70 titled 'GMH News' serial number 70/27, the new XU-1 was announced along with most of the relevant specs. On the very last line on the last page is listed Kerb Weight = 2430 lbs. Using my metric converter this translates to 1102.22 kg.
I'm not sure how to post this on the forum, but if anyone has a copy of Fiv Antoniou's first book, it's on page 25 (bottom right).
I do have an original copy of this press release, so if anyone wants a copy I could fax or e-mail it to them, if it can help with any engineering issues. I'm sure any authority would accept a genuine press release on a GMH letterhead as proof of these specs.

Can I please have a copy of this press release emailed through. I have purchased the 60 years of Holden book as documentation of the Kerb Weight but really require the press release.
