There is even the Ballarat al GM day we could go to as well for those that can't make this day. Even if it's not for the whole day, just a cruise up and back.

Can you give me an idea of what sort of what you can do Nig?
I can take off things, put things back on, take things apart, put them back together, clean something out, pull something apart & work out what's wrong & try fix it...... That type of work. My most recent car related thing was put the ls1, t56 & bw diff into the old HX but I don't like the chances of us doing that between now & the cruise on Sunday. I learn as much as I can while I'm doing things but sometimes my ambition exceeds my talent & I learn the hard way. I'm a jack of all trades....master of just cabinet making haha.

LOL! That made me laugh. I'm the same. However i have only really mastered being angry. I've always been told there are two ways to learn. The hard way, and the harder way. Somehow, i always opt for the harder way but at least im learning. I find that working on cars is not the hard part. Gaining the experience to do everything right the first time is.

Actually I have to pull out myself due to a relative passing away. Up to you guys if you still want to do the drive. I will however set another date in say mid to late November soon. Sorry for the muck around.

Like Daz, will try and have the car ready for mid to late november. More than likely it will be together. Whether or not the new engine combo runs is a different question. Im sure if it doesnt, some torana nut will be willing to help a brother out in time for the cruise lol..

Maybe aim to meet before and leave the United servo at Tod road at about 9:00 and cruise from there. Puts us in Geelong around 9:45-10:00, then talk more carp with the next group then head to either Aireys Inlet or Lorne for lunch. Talk more carp then head home at a reasonable hour?
Thoughts?
