Put up the link and I'll share it.
You have to wonder, were the keys laying around?
I have a crook lock in my car and have yet to see a mechanic apply it when I turn up to pick up my car and sometimes the keys are in the ignition.
:(

I still can't believe people do this. i mean I can imagine a done up car pinched for engine/driveline etc, but a numbered car!! It has its value due to it being number blah out of blah blah. So it will never be able to see the light of day again. So whats the point??? What a waste.

I hear ya, it's a truly pathetic dog act. I'm sure many car fanatics wouldn't want stolen parts on his/her car so there's some merchant or dodgy 'restorer' out there looking to fill his greedy pockets.

WOW! That's awesome news.It is good to hear a success story after so many being taken and never heard of again. i wonder what happens now with insurnace? if the insurance company has paid out then the car belong to them now doesn't it? So it will probably be sold off.

Sad news you don't own it anymore.
Fingers crossed you get first dibs or are able to win the auction if it goes to one.

Good to hear the mongrel thieves got thiers! My old boss (G'day Colin) had his taken too. Luckily it was found, idling, in a wet paddock after falling off the road and going through a barbwire fence. Very little damage, just a couple of fibreglass parts broken and numerous scratches.
Also there was a Lotus Cortina pinched from up north a while ago. Very rare car, missing for quite a while, found untouched about 2 kays from me! Also in a garage.
As soon as pussy judges grow a pair and start removing hands, etc, car theft will be part of everyones lives for a long time to come.
