Never match interior trim with body colour! looks cheap.

I got some that are black with some green trim on them so should look ok.
Will look better than the current ones anyway.

There are a couple of extra bits I'll do but not much left all of a sudden!
Glad I decided to change the shocks, there were some dodgy inner bushes (hose pipe) and the passenger side rear had a bad leak

Rear springs and shocks are done, now have plenty of clearance so may not bother with the front springs.
Shocks will get done tomorrow though.
Then I just have to put my gear stick cover back on, took several days last time due to dodgy carpet cutting and munted tunnel, and put the trim back on and degrease and vacuum.
I'm sure there will be a few other things but nearly there I think.
Here's how she looks now

Me too, I hope you pass first time and I lose. It's a nervous time when they check your car.

Rear springs changed and all 4 shocks.
Had a few minor issues but got there in the end.
So left on my list are;
- Clean up connections on the starter
- Put gear stick cover/shroud thingy back on. I was gutted when the auto electrician took it off cause it took me so long to get it right the first time lol.
- Top up transmission fluid, every time I jack up the front I end up with a bit of a puddle
- Replace amp meter. It works but is an after market one that already shorted out on the dash once and nearly killed the car so I'll change it with a proper one so I get my charge light back too.
- vacuum
- degrease
- check everything, especially the stuff I've fixed because I may need to do it again lol.

So have crossed nothing off this list yet, wifey has been sick and I've been busy being Dad and Mum and the washing lady and cook so haven't had time to touch it.
Now she's better and Marty is almost finished I'm inspired to get back into it.
Anyone know why I would have a sump bolt on the side of the sump?
Pretty sure there is one on the bottom too.

Hello Craig,
Would the side plug be from a project like this picture:-

Anyone know why I would have a sump bolt on the side of the sump?
Also while I was at it, a few more external oil links:-

Usually a problem solved is a shit load of more problems but thats all part of the fun. Thats not a bad looking console, hope it go's
in and it actually solves your boot problems. I remember the magazine ads for those consoles'.
