So I bought some bits including an inner door handle, some door lock knob thingys (fitted), a bonnet pull cause it is a frickin nightmare trying to pop the bonnet without one, a new ignition barrel cause the old one is stuffed. (LJ for now but down the track will get the LC bits back in there and replace it again). There were some other bits too but I can't remember now.
I've ordered some new carpet from Knox and in the process of getting quotes for new seat covers in Orange Houndstooth.
I need to do something about the carby too cause it runs like a dog. Idles fine after she gets warm, but when you give it revs and try to move it coughs and splutters and complains.
Needs some little things like the horn and squirty bottle aren't working, I can't turn the wipers on cause I can't turn the knob cause I can't grab it due to it being fully depressed into the lower dash.
None of that is a big issue though.
I will be getting rid of a car shortly so I'll have room to work on the green machine in the shed which will make it way easier.
Here's proof I can't leave my stuff anywhere without someone messing it up.

and I hope there is one on both sides
Of course.
That sh!t is slippery as when it gets a bit wet and there isn't a lot of meat on the rears and I had to give it berries so it didn't stall. That is and will always be my excuse

Got my cover today, seems to fit pretty well, is fairly light but also thick.
Time will tell how it goes I guess.

hahaha.....its more to keep the leaves and crap off it.
Even though its only a 2 year old shed it still fills up with crap in the right conditions.

Had a play with the carby and timing today and got it running a bit better.
Previously it would idle but as soon as you step on the loud pedal it would backfire.
I adjusted the fuel mixture and the timing slightly and it stopped doing it, however when it cooled down a bit it was doing it again.
The carby looks to have been recently reconditioned, still has that gold look to it, so I'm hoping a bit of tuning will get me there.
If anyone knows any tricks I'd be happy to hear them.
Motor itself revs freely and sounds great.
Here's some pics of the carby if anyone has any tips for this sort?
I'll see if its any better when its cold but probably won't get back to it until the weekend.
