I went to cooly rocks on yesterday (Friday 07-06-13) in my opinion Friday is the better day as you can cruise with others and also see the parked cars. 
Coppers were out as well looking at the cars, I had about 7 all up look at mine and taking some photos, was a little un-nerving at first, but after a little chat with a few of them, they were car nuts just like you & I, all was good. 
I was cruising around with Ando (John) we had a ball burbling along the fore shore of Coolangatta, we caught up with Johns mate Sam and checked out some of the cars, chatted with others, ate a counter lunch while watching the cars and broads go by, drank some beers, talked a fair bit of shit as you do, yeah baby
We caught up with Barry Jackpot (Chris) had a bit of a gasbag, top bloke, keen to catch up again an get the boys together, go for a cruise with Dad's Car (Chris's XU-1).
I didn't Take too many photos this year, but I did take photos of the UN-LOVED cars, I for some strange reason find these cars interesting, I feel they have a little extra bit of character.
This is a Morrie 1000, its had a chop top & sloper rear end, awesome looking little lead sled.
The bonnet on this truck is huge, would have to be at least 7 to 8 foot long, just like an old bastard with a big nose.
