That'll look better. Just curious, what did you use for the replacement section?

Mate, I reckon that comment is a bit rough, I don't know Heath personally but judging by the work done so far this is gonna be one nice Hatch when all is said and done, regardless of what the compliance plate says.

Yeah that wasn't particularly constructive.
Mick we managed to use some of the inner guard from the LX front cut that I hadn't used in the conversion, as it kinda had the right shape and I don't have access to an English Wheel etc. Must say Groges is pretty magic on the tools - made it look farken easy to make the inner guard flow into it and I need to replicate it on the other side myself now haha.
With any luck I will have a gearbox soon!

I set my clutch up with the reservour in the engine bay, but the master in the car. There are a few different ones you can use.
This is incase you have trouble setting the one you have up with the booster in the way. Unless you are moving that too!?!
Have a look at the Mal Wood site for a Torana pedal setup to get the idea. Then make your own to save some coin.
Coming along great by the way, when does the LSX arrive?????

Yeah I wanna do it under the dash using that Wilwood master - I know that the 3/4" master that came with the box is the perfect unit, but I need to convert it to suit a remote setup (with the hose coming into the top) and don't want to buy the whole kit just for that one bloody part.
nemo355v8 has paved the way on this one.

I actually had went into the shed to look because I thought I had a spare myself I was going to offer you (I gotta post a little box over to my mate in a week or so anyways) I couldn't find the one I thought I had, so dug up the link instead. (I had ended up with a wilwood master cylinder like that in with a bunch of other junk I had bought somewhere or other.)
I used a factory late Camaro reservoir on mine btw...mounted nice and all.

Heath I just used a BA Falcon master cylinder assembly, all mounted under the dash. Used the late commodore reservoir on the engine bay side. It was a simple conversion and the clutch is very progressive and light. I have concentric throw out bearing also

That's a nice looking box Heath.
You're turning a neat hatch into an awesome machine, love it.

Hi Heath, i made up my own under dash clutch cylinder using a toyota cylinder on my lx gtr hatch build.
There are a few pictures about 1/3 of the page down on how i done it which help with a few ideas on how to mount yours.

Concentric throw out bearing is that one of those hydraulic activated throw out bearings? If it is, I wonder if that could be hooked up to a CRS hydraulic clutch.
