Pointless even asking Daz. I don't think he even knows what he's putting in it.

I'm gonna guess twin turbo V8 Duramax Diesel... an easy 600 horses, still gets 20 mile per gallon and runs on last night's cooking oil!

If Bomber knows, and appears happy, I'ms assuming red six, probably with a stupid-big turbo/s.

Nope, fairly sure it's not a red 6. Heath has been selling off 6 banger bits and pieces.

My guess is to avoid engineering complications it'll be a Holden V8 coupled to the TKO box.
I also allow for the possibility of SBC or LS conversion as he doesn't appear to be scared of a little extra work.

Anyway, fess up DJ. In yodas voice "tell us you will"

You punters need to read a little closer hahahaha. I handed it to you pages ago!

I didn't buy it to have another six (very regrettable/unsatisfying engine build two pages back) or to have a UC hatch. Time to get serious!

I don't have a time frame in mind; I wanna put in some pretty serious hours but I'd like to go for a pretty high quality result too. It will be Holden V8 powered and manual as I still haven't grown a vagina. Not going to give away all of my plans yet though. For now I pretty obviously need to focus on sheet metal work.

None of the suggestions were unreasonable (okay maybe the farking diesel is an exception hahaha), but I would have expected a little more creativity haha. No Rover V8 suggestions?

Jonesy the Chev six suggestion was a good suggestion.

Interesting thought process but engineering complications actually has nothing to do with it. Holden V8 is simply the desired engine choice for this car - Australian motor, makes the right sounds, did all the right stuff at Bathurst, but it isn't going to be a stock 304 with a banana manifold lol

Why would you bother with a 253 when you've got such a good gearbox.

I heard he was using 2 Starfires and a V8 crank to make a boxer flat 8. That is why he trimmed the chassis rail.
