i remember the single disc ones were 35 at pitstop but i got them from big w for 24
this 78 is a 2 disc copy like the 77 and was 50 from p/s, ended up buying it as didnt see it at big w
so hope b/w get this 1 in as pitstop aint here anymore
i'll keep an eye out on b/w's site and let ya know
theres also 3 others in the ad, group a,v8 classics/supercar and 3 of brocks best/grp a

just seen this dvd listed on big w's site for pre-order

due release is 14 august/next wednesday/ priced at 24 bucks

8 1/2 hours long...

was gonna buy a moffat money box from woolies..bugger that i'll

seen this vid from a couple of places on ebay from 29 to 33 bucks plus post
but their release is still the 14th, screw em, save the cash and wait till
wednesday and get ya grubby mitts on a copy from big w.

sorting my collection last night i found i already have 1978, vhs conversion
at 6 1/2 hrs plus pre-race. i'll still be buying this vid tho as mine has the
adds edited out and this is like the 77 vid with the camera's rolling thru the
breaks and better quality.

to lap 70 something. noonan sayes its 35 min but i checked my vhs copy
and its more like 50 mins missing and mine has the adds editted out so
could be more. if i burn a copy of the missing bit can someone local
take it clean it up a bit and put it on youtube so we all have it.

theres some good stuff in the missing section......
harve's an moff going hard as for 25 min's
morris's 1st stop and driver change
brocks stop and change
harve's stop and change
bondy back after box was changed
harve's pit interview
brock's pit interview
brabham's pit interview
williamsons bootlid chop chop
moff's at home with th missus interview
and the 1st half of williamsons pit interview with kerry luckins/lukins which actually
explains why he has blood trickling down his face.

That's shocking. Why do they do things like that when its not the whole 78 race and no vital HH which is a big part of the lead into the race. What's the video/audio quality like?

It's turning me off buying and I was going to head to JB's in the morning.

But I might just have to stick with the old VHS tapes by the sounds of what's missing. It will sh#t me to tears when watching missing laps.
