Dunno much about it,but if the cranking volts of battery when the starter kicks in drops and if the yellow wire is switched in parallel with pink
then all it is doing is providing a supply to coil to bypass the slight drop at cranking to get a bit more to the coil,who knows how much the voltage will drop at cranking,maybe down to 8v,in which case if that is so the lektronic dizzy should be ok at 8V,if a problem then jump the wires to provide line voltage on run.The tacco should be ok as it comes off the neg. of the coil and only sees the same as what it would see as if with points,the difference being that a transistor has replaced the points and hopefully the dwell (coil charge time) will be taken care of within the module even at low volts.
And use an electronic type coil,they are different because the saturation points of coils vary,a low primary resistance will charge the coil faster than a high resistance
