If I had my time again back in 1997 when I bought my LJ I would buy a Hatch.

But it is iteresting to see peoples preference.

Hard to choose, after having two SS Hatch's and a few 2-Door LJ, but the power to weight on a V8 LJ is unreal, so I guess the LJ

Hmm the HB just doesnt do it for me.

I've seen a black Hatch with flares a few times and it looks just fantastic. I think he was a member here some time ago.

Lots of Hatch's look good but I still have a very soft place for one in full "War Paint".

Moffat still has nightmares about Torries in War Paint and we are in 2013.

Lx hatch, no contest really. I especially love a nice one without the flare treatment and a bent 8 up front.

It was the 70's and yes we wore flares and bright colours. Even Safari Suits .... LOL

Although I have destroyed as many photo's as I can find that I was ever guilty of such fashion crimes against humanity. :wtf:

Can I place an order for a 73 Bathurst model Xu1 in glacier white or cyan blue, one of the HDT v8 Lj prototypes and an A9X hatch. If anyone has any of the above feel free to bring it around and I'll look after it for you, lol (I'll accept any colour).

Mine, of course. A July 1973 tangerine with chestnut trim GTR XU-1 sold by Southern Motors, North Melbourne, on the 1st of August 1973. I've had it since 1989 but would love to know a more detailed history. Were you the first owner of this car registered LOR-411?
