Hi All

 

I posted a comment about chemical dipping and I have started the process is anyone interested in another build thread with day by week photos

Good question

 

It is LH SLR L32

Going to return it to original absynth yellow

Have 330 stroker with nice cam and l34 heads ready to go :]

Yes I am keeping the body kit on this one but my other one is going to be standard

Just picked up a couple of panels on wed (door and boot) after they have been dipped, don't know why people are wary of this process it shows up all the imperfections stops the rust and leaves them clean to work on

Started removing panels and finding the hidden secrets.

Battery panel rusted is the most noticeable.

For those who want to know the bare shell weight of a lh or lx its not much

just pulled out the front end and now doing the rear end

have a set of electronic palet scales so im gonna put them under and weigh it

Will start off slowly with the comments, and let them escalate with the build.

 

What a POS!

 

Only jokes.  :)  I like the way it sits, and there is something alluring about the colour choice.  Just can't put my finger on it though...

 

Does it still have the bird scarer in it (4.2L)?  All the noise, none of the power, only thought to be good for scaring birds!
