If you have Torana mounts then try HQ ones as the motor will sit a bit lower with them.
They aren't rare and someone could lend you a set to try.

I did have another mount of another engine and I tried it and it gave me about 5mm clearance
But are you talking about the rubber mount or the fixed mount on the motor that is hq or both
I changed the fixed mount

Yeah mate the steel fixed mounts are different, rubber mounts are the same.
I think HQ's will sit about half inch lower?
