i bought a secondhand bellhousing to adapt 202 to celica gearbox not long ago, and the bolt holes are different to the celica box i have.
i now have 2 dellow bellhousings to fit holden 6 to celica. but are both different. has anyone else had this problem, or have i been sold a bellhousing that is not for the celica box

cheers ant

Sure you didnt buy one to suit a supra box, ie Hilux box?

If it's for a Supra box I'll have it.

I've been looking for one of those...

Either. Cable clutch type would be preferable.

Theres 2 basic forms of celica box

Ones all alloy and is called a T50 box

The other is cast body with an alloy rear .. called a W50

They bolt up differently

Then there is of course the supra boxes of various types... usually they are oval holes

So first thing... what celica box do you have ?

Heres my T50 (set up for a datto.... with the W50 beside it (no bellhousing)

See the different bellhousing bolt patterns ?

Datto, you sure that isn't a W55 to W58 bellhousing?  Same bolt pattern I think but longer input shaft so the bellhousings are a fair bit deeper than that.
