Hi all,

The twin vent outlet in my car is just sitting in the centre console and i cannot see how it should be located. Does it clip into the blower unit or is it screwed in somehow? Any help will be appreciated, including an image to show how it is fixed in place!

The vent (9) slides sideways onto the front of the heater box.

Slides sideways, of course! So bloody obvious now. :banghead:

So I just need to move the console back to slide the vent in.

Thanks for your help. :spoton:

Looking at that diagram you need to pull the heater box out and separate the two halves of the casing to install the vent assy then put it back together.

All good, took less than 5 minutes.

I had enough movement in the console to get clearance for the vent. It slides in from the left.

Yes you would think so going by the GMH diagram, but once the 2 halves are clipped together, the vent assembly slides onto the front from one end (drivers side I think?)
