I did a similar thing on a HR Holden plastic reservoir when I was a youngster.
Stuck a compressor fitting into a lid and screwed it on.
The plan was to pressurise the cylinder with air and push the fluid through.......
Hit the air and blew the whole thing to bits....shit puckin everywhere...
oops........

Anyone made a decent valve spring compressor ? I made one that bolts to where the rocker arm bolts but its to awkward to put the valve seals in .

The spanner used for getting at those ever so easy to get at top bell V8 housing bolts when just lifting the
engine out.

Hammered in with grease in front?
Yep. Scrape it up and put it back in the "dirty" pot for next time. Using grease seems to help with the wood staying intact compared with the wet newspaper.

I like this wheel stands. Very sturdy!!
How does the spigot removal tool work? What is the newspaper method?

Hydraulic pressure pushes the bush out. Easy and effective.

Instead of using grease you can use wet paper make like a pulp it is very effective and not as messy.
Also have used a sllde hammer to remove the bushes as well.

Im not too sure if this counts as a tool but I whacked this together as a way of moving the shell around the workshop with an earth mover with tow ball attachment.

Like Button for you Paul,
we did see your work earlier, but now is great too.
I made this offset measuring tool for when I worked out the wheel offsets for the hatch.
I was pretty nervous while the wheels were being made, but it worked well.
Cheers Paul.
Just wondering if you accounted for spring compression as well?

That apprentice is earning his money...
Great jig.
Cool looking wheels.
How did they balance up?

Just wondering if you accounted for spring compression as well?
On the rear, no, but on the front I did, all I did was take out the spring and move the hub up and down making sure it didn't clash.

pretty good, Craig, nothing a little lead wouldn't correct.
That Apprentice is my son Stephen and he is a tradesman, but was all good, we had a play day.
