From my rough notes, I think this is Bathurst 1977. Harry Firth's last year as Manager of MHDT. Picture taken in a main street of Bathurst on Monday morning after the race with his highest placed car driven by O'Brien & Harrop.

Don't see many race cars in the main street of Bathurst anymore either.

 

Thanks for sharing, its something I probably wouldn't believe unless I saw it because it is just so different to how things are now.

Nice pic, never seen many of that HDT A9X 4 door

 

I was at the AMCM show a couple of weeks ago, and I bought the 1978 Bathurst DVD, I got Harry to sign it for me, he seemed quite interested in it
