I went to the first 'Cars N Coffee' at Picton on Saturday. 

 

Sean from Bosskraft hosts the event and plans to make it monthly.

I'll also throw in a plug for Scott at Picton Automotive (where the 60’s Chev was parked), my car was due for rego that day, it passed the pink slip inspection and when I asked where the nearest RTA was, he said I could pay for rego online in his office; too convenient!

I know Sean very well he is a great bloke. He used to work with us in the HWP and he is opening a workshop where the morning was held. He does quality work and as stated is a sensational bloke and is full of knowledge. I was home and sorry i missed it. It is going to be a regular event so I'm already looking forward to the next one.

First Saturday of each month, I'll try to give a heads up prior.

 

The good thing is it all rounds up around 9am so you have the rest of the day free.

It was the first one so needs to build some momentum.

 

Sean restores Mustangs, it's a bit of a celebration of his new workshop in the street and word got around via the Mustang forums, hence all the Mustangs.

 

Since some Holdens turned up and he's happy to have all cars, bikes, etc. turn up, I thought I'd share it here.

We should organise a GMH Forum day there. How about we turn up with a few cars in November? (long weekend in October which might knock alot of people out)

There's nothing stopping anyone here organising a similar event anywhere else; as long as you get permission to use the area I guess and perhaps a car club to put the event in their calendar to get those with club rego authorisation to attend.

 

There's a coffee meet for US Muscle at Kellyville Plaza, first Sunday of every month.

 

I also recall Harry's at Tempe was asking around car clubs for interest in hosting some events there.

I went with some old mates. That's my little LJ.

We met at Narellan maca's. Cruised out over razorback through the fog.

pulled up had a coffee and an egg and bacon roll.

 

Best part, as said, it was all over by 9.00am.

 

Drove back to menangle through maldon and the valley through to douglas park.

was great fun racing those mustangs. (all within the limit).

 

really good morning. Spoke to some nice guys and learnt a thing or 2 about

mustangs.

I was wondering if anyone here would own up to it.

 

Some of the Sydney crew met at Unlcle Leo's Truck Stop and drove down.

 

I drove up from Wollongong way and it was a great drive, first time I got to use my fog lamps, lol.

 

Sean and his dad Kerry are very well versed in Mustangs, Kerry was on Classic Restos; he had the bay with all the Mustangs in various states of restoration and as well as importing and restoring, Sean goes over to the USA to judge concours Mustangs at their car shows.

It's on again this Saturday, I'll try to make it in the Torana while the Mustang is getting fixed.

There were actually 3 hatchbacks there last month.  My yellow SS and 2 x A9X's.  We only arranged it the night before.
